রাশিয়ার দেয়া বিবৃতি পাল্টে দিলো বাংলাদেশের মিডিয়া ! 11 Jan, 2014

গতপরশু রাশিয়ার পররাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রনালয় বাংলাদেশের নির্বাচন নিয়ে যে বিবৃতি দিয়েছে সেটি বাংলাদেশের অধিকাংশ মিডিয়া বিকৃত করে প্রচার করার অভিযোগ পাওয়া গেছে। রাশিয়া জানিয়েছে, ‘বাংলাদেশি ভোটারদের ইচ্ছার ভিত্তিতে গঠিত সরকারকে সব রকমের সহযোগিতা দিতে’ মস্কো প্রস্তুত রয়েছে। রাশিয়ার পররাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয়ের তথ্য ও গণমাধ্যম বিভাগের বিবৃতিতে বলা হয়, ‘৫ জানুয়ারি বাংলাদেশে জাতীয় সংসদ নির্বাচন অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে, যেখানে আওয়ামী লীগ বিজয়ী হয়েছে। কিন্তু দুঃখজনক বিষয় হলো, প্রধান বিরোধী শক্তি ওই নির্বাচন বয়কট করেছে।’ বিবৃতিতে বলা হয়, ‘রাশিয়া বাংলাদেশের এমন সরকারের সঙ্গে গঠনমূলক অংশীদারিত্বপূর্ণ যে কোনো সহযোগিতা দিতে প্রস্তুত রয়েছে, যে সরকার বাংলাদেশি ভোটারদের ইচ্ছার ভিত্তিতে নির্বাচিত হবে। একই সঙ্গে আমরা আশা করি, বন্ধুপ্রতীম বাংলাদেশ কর্তৃপক্ষ ও বিরোধী দল কেউই সাংবিধানের সীমানার বাইরে যাবে না। তারা অভ্যন্তরীণ রাজনৈতিক স্থিতিশীলতা নিশ্চিত করতে উদ্যোগী হবে এবং গণতান্ত্রিক প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলোকে আরও সুদৃঢ় করবে।’ বিবৃতির ইংরেজী ভাষ্যটি ঠিক এ রকম; On the 5 January, parliamentary elections were held in Bangladesh.
